Why Travis Kelce Didn't Attend Taylor Swift's First Two Dublin Shows
On Sunday night, Taylor Swift performed in Dublin for the third night in a row. Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce made an appearance after missing the first two Ireland performances. Kelce had good reasons for not being in attendance during Friday and Saturday’s sets. The NFL star had obligations elsewhere.
This weekend is the wedding of Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire. A Kelce fan account shared a picture of Kelce at the event on Saturday night in California and another of him dancing at the reception. And Instagram gossip account DeuxMoi shared pics of Kelce allegedly leaving a bar on Friday night in West Hollywood. Though Kelce and Swift have both done some extreme traveling to see one another, the football player was in London last weekend and caught Swift’s show three times in a row. He even attended the last performance with Swift’s parents, Andrea and Scott.
During her last performance at Wembley Stadium, Kelce even joined Swift on stage, dressed like one of her background dancers in a tuxedo and top hat. Later, Swift shared pictures from their time together, writing, “Wembley Stadium round one was so surreal. Looking out into crowds of 90,000 fans each night and hearing that VOLUME… Those were some of the loudest crowds I’ve ever heard. Acoustic sections went OFF. I got to sing ‘Castles Crumbling’ with @yelyahwilliams for the first time - hadn’t performed with her since 2011 and man my heart was just so full of love for her and our friendship. ”
She continued, “Then the impossibly gifted and wonderful @gracieabrams came and surprised the crowd with the first performance of our song ‘us.’ And I’m still cracking up/swooning over @killatrav’s Eras Tour debut 🥰 Never going to forget these shows.”
